The main reason I got this battery was for it’s high energy density. It replaces a battery that had a max life of 20 minutes in a RC hovercraft before the battery died. The Tenergy unit lasts over an hour (I haven’t drained it yet. After an hour of RC, it’s time to do something else!).
The picture of the product isn’t representative of what the item looks like. Tenergy got a packaging designer and now has something that isn’t as obtrusive as the cyan wrapper on the product image. It’s a metallic, charcoal gray package.

My child’s Lionel Penn Flyer G was using six C cells every day.
This battery lasts at least as long as six akaline C cells when charged several hours or overnight.
After two months it gets less use so I only recharge the battery 2-3 times each week,
but I have had no issues with this product.

I bought this for the Christmas Story Lionel train, G gauge, set. I use it as a substitute for 6 C batteries, and it fits and connects (Tamiya connector) in the battery compartment. The battery pack is NiMH and is supposed to not have the memory effect (that’s a good thing).
